My 325i has a fuel smell and white puffs of exhaust at idle. Any ideas?

There could be an issue with the connector for the injection harness. It is directly under the throttle body and it is a round black connector. This connector needs to be inspected for corrosion. It was a problem with a lot of these M-20 I motor cars. Sometimes you can clean the connector, sometimes you have to cut the corroded parts out and hard wire it.
