Where is the fuel filter located on a 1988 BMW 325i convertible?

On the drivers side, right next to and in front of the fuel tank. You will need to get under the car to view it. Inspect all the fuel hoses, they may require replacement at that age, and dont use the SAE fuel hose, get the good 8mm German car fuel hose.
