Steering problem
1987 BMW 325 Engine Size unknown Two Wheel Drive Manual 150000 miles

My 1987 BMW 325 seems to have lost it's power steering. The steering was making a terrible sound for a few days. Now there is no sound and the sterring is very tight, but driveable. It this something I need to get fixed, or can I just live with a car without power steering?
