It should be on the under hood emissions sticker.

OK, I'm pretty sure that model is an "e". The easy way to tell is to look at your tach. If the redline is 4500 rpm, then it's an "e". If it's 6500, then it's an "i".

Redline is at 4500 so I guess its a 325e

Idle speed and fast idle speed are controlled by an idle speed control unit. Connect dwell/tachometer to engine. Check idle speed. If specification is not correct, check idle speed control unit and replace if required.
