2000 BMW 323 Diagnostic pcode 1421 and 1422

My check engine light turned on and checking the computer showed Pcodes 1421 and 1422 saved which shows problem with secondary air system bank one (1421) and two (1422). what is the secondary air system and how do I fix this problem?

Secondary air is for quicker catalytic converter start up. First, do you know how to fix cars? If yes then repost to me and I will try to help you. If no then you should seek local professional help.

Yes, I do know how to repair cars. I saw in other BMw forum the purpose for the secondary air system. I did a visual check and the hoses seemed be okay from the Secondary air pump. What steps do you recommend?

Replace the secondary air pump.
