Hi:
when i purchased this used car. i noticed that when i unlock the car or lock it using the remote it does not show any light indicator or beep of a horn, i only notice the interior lights go on and off.
Does the year of my car comes like that or is it a problem?
I want the car to flash the signal lights when i lock or unlock the car like other cars. How do i do that? can i do it my self? how much do i expect to have that done?

thankx

The car does not come with an alarm. If you wish to have that functionality you need to have an alarm installed or have the car/key memory altered at a BMW repair facility to have the lights flash when the remote is activated. Cost is probably going to vary, maybe $75
