1999 BMW 323 post accident question

I hydroplaned on the hwy and spun around and hit my back passenger side tire against the median. it looks kicked in a bit. once i parked it it won't go into gear now and theres a clunking sound out of that tire side and it wont kick into any gears. do u think its the clutch all the transmission? how much would a repair run?
