My car has been skipping and acting like it wants to shut off and doesnt want to go sometimes. It mainly does this when Its in part or when the ac is running. have any suggestions??

Is the SERVICE ENGINE lamp on? What has been done to correct the issue so far? What is the mileage? Is the car E-36 or E-46? Repost with the VIN please.
