2005 BMW 320D Gas in a Diesel tank

I had a quarter of diesel in the tank already the guy that the gas station instead of adding a quarter diesel he added gasoline my car drove fine but then it was lossing power and white smoke was coming of the exhaust please help I don't know what to do

I would give the station an opportunity to fix it before I'd sue.

do not panic..... it is customary to put gasoline in diesel's in extreme cold weather to help thin out the paraffin in the diesel fuel, it did not damage the engine in anyway, the only symptoms would be loss of power which is to be expected
