bmw 320i acceleration problem.

hi i have a bmw 320i 2 dr coupe 1992, it starts and runs fine but if i turn it off and then on again i have a problem. the revs drop really low and when i put my foot down it struggles to pick up, so i either have to rev up high to start moving or wait for ages for it to sort itself out. thanks for your time marc

how fast are you letting it run before turning it off. and how long till you turn it back on?

its just like driving to the shop gettin out buyin somethin then starting again, if i start the following day its fine or a few hours later??

any check engine light or trouble codes? whens last time it was tuned up?

no lights only had it a couple months, im thinking maybe coils and plugs?
