2004 BMW 320 Connecting a light board

I have a 2004 BMW 320d sport. I am wanting to install a light board to the back but do not know what to do about the wiring. Will the car have a connector already in place somewhere or do I have to get a mechanic to install?

I am installing a bike carrier to the back of the car and when the bike is mounted it obscures the vehicle lights so I have to hang a lighting board to the rear to duplicate the vehicle lights. As you would have if I was pulling a trailer there would have to be lights linked to the vehicle.
