2001 BMW 320 parking sensors and manual boot lid button

hi,the parking sensors are not working or is the manual button for the rear boot lid.could someone maybe help me out many thanks ian c

Ian! Inspect the wiring harness at the right side of the boot lid to the "tub". Pull the accordion boot loose and throughly inspect the wires inside. Then the parking sensors should be subjected to a short test and this will require either the equipment the dealer uses called a Group Tester One (or GT-1) or Autologic software. The newer BMW cars are electronically sophisticated and many things regarding repairing them are limiting to the "do it yourself" folks out there.
