Hi, I recently did a simple service (oil, oil filter change and engine flush) on my e46 320i and all was good for about 2 days. on the 3rd day i had parked my car for about 40 mins to an hour and upon my return, the car would not start. An "EMI" light had appeared on the dash. Key works in unlocking and locking the car, head lights work but accessories are dead. My car is stuck in a car park and desperately need to know what the problem is. When i serviced it all i did was run an engine flush through the engine (added to existing dirty oil and ran at idle for 10 mins) dropped the oil, changed the filter and filled it back up.

This could be caused by a bad battery or a poor connection. Check battery connections and battery voltage.
