My 2001 BMW 320i runs great on a cold engine, but after running it for about 10-15 miles, engine starts shaking and loses acceleration power. On a stop, while on "D", the engine acts like it is breathing. The RPM goes up and down constantly. Not sure what it is... help? hopefully it's an easy and inexpensive fix. Thank YOu!

Check the intake manifold boot for holes or cracking. Look at the bellows to the ICV, they crack all the time.
