1996 BMW 320 Cooant level reading

Hi,

I have a bmw 320i '96, whenever I switch the engine off the console displays that I need to check the coolant level, when I do the level is fine. What could be the problem?

The problem could be a coding error in the instrument cluster or a faulty sensor.
