1994 BMW 320 Car cuts out?

Hi,

My BMW keeps on cutting out. When starting the engine I have to press the accelerator straight away otherwise it cuts out. Its not holding the revs at all. It also does theis when trying to drive, so changing year or breaking just cuts the engine off
