Engine Performance problem
1982 BMW 320 4 cyl Manual 188000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
it looses power while driving, idles great and will not die while at idle. it dies, but it starts right back up while your still moving and it will have full power till it does it again, something seems to be clogging somewhere. any help? also...the gas gauge seems to be on the fritz.

Has the fuel filter been replaced recently?
