oil change indicator lights

I have a 1994 318i with approx. 230000 miles. when you first turn on the ignition, a display lights up in the dash showing how close you are to your next oil change (approx 5 green lights, 1 yellow, 1 red) the less lights..the sooner to next oil change. anyway, is there a way to reset the oil change short of going to the dealership???any help would be greatly appreciated
