2000 BMW 318 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 12500k miles

I have a BMW 318i Automatic which will not go until it warms up
I had a Diagnostic report which said Oxygen sensor control As well as knock control

Please explain what this is and are they big jobs
