2002 BMW 318 Thermostat permanent removal!!

I will be taking my car with me in tropical carribean for good, where temperatures are never below 30degrees celcius. I have mixed opinions whether to take the thermostat out completely or leave it. Mechanics over there advise for it to be removed, car specialists here advise me to leave it. Please help for the sake of my cars perfomance and engine durability. What should really do? Thanks guys!!

the engine computer makes all of its adjustments by reading the temperature of the engine, the temperature of the exhaust etc. if you remove the thermostat you will be changing all of the parameters the computer feeds itself from, you should not have any trouble with that BMW in the tropical Caribbean, I have lived for many years in those conditions the only problem I find with cars if they sit for 30 days the cylinders sweat because of their humanity and they seize up, another problem the fine sand plugs up the radiator which causes of vehicles to run hot

I do not advocate the removal of the thermostat, ever!! The engineers design the motor to perform in concert with the t-stat and its removal is not recommended.
