1999 BMW 318 318 front headlight removal

I just bought a bmw 318 e46 (1999) yesterday I received the angel eye kit I bought off ebay which I would like to fit into my front headlights. Do I need to remove the full headlight assembly or will the lens cover just come off, so I can fit the angel eyes in. Can I also connect the wiring from he angel eyes to the parking lights wiring from this postion? Thanks.

The headlamps should be removed for this operation. I am not an advocate of using aftermarket lighting appliances, this is just an opinion. The parking lamps are a good place to pick up power for your halo lights.
