my fuel light stays on even when there is petrol in the tank, how do i fix it

fuel level sensor most likely culprit, it's under left side of rear seat

Actually, there are two sensors, one on each side of the saddle tank. The right one has the switch that turns on that light. Check this site: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=CC03&mospid=47493&btnr=16_0211&hg=16&fg=15
