1998 BMW 318 Car Loses Power

Hi.

My Vehicle drives normally and then suddenly (esp up a long hill, under strain i think) it loses power. Car wont accellerate although the accelleration needle revs up. Sounds like the exhaust is blown. I switch off and start up again and the vehicle is back to normal.
A slight decrease in power is noted.

PLEASE HELP.
PS: Codes were read, only airbag sensor gone.
I also had a Dastek Unichip installed

Test the throttle position sensor and air mass meter do a backpressure test on the exhaust system
