i was racing the car and it just shut off at around 55 hundred rpms. i thought that i may have hit a rev limiter or a governer and that would have been it. the car started fine after about five minutes but i didnt have any gears at all. a few mechanics told me that it could be the torque converter or the transmission pump. i have no idea which it could be and do not know how much it would cost. can you help me out?
