I have a 1996 318I BMW 1.9L engine Auto. When I turn the key I get power to vehicle as in the radio and air conditioning but no ignition. There is no sound at all. After about 6 -10 attempts turning the key to on and then all the way off and then back on again I eventually get ignition.
Could it be the battery in the key or something else
