Hi ,

Thanks for taking the time to look at my question. I have '95 bmw 318is w/ approx 190k. The other morning I got in my car and noticed it was very difficult to change gears. The car is pretty much un-drivable. In order to move the car , i have to put it into gear with engine off then turn the engine on and go. I've been told its most likely the slave cylinder and not the clutch. I tried bleeding the hydraulics to no avail. Do i need a new clutch , slave/master cylinder , or something else?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If clutch disengagement is not possible then it might be the hydraulic system, replace the slave and master and bleed the system.
