Only when putting into first gear, it makes a clunking noise! If I put it into second first then into first, there is no noise. Any ideas what may be causing this? Your earliest response would be appreciated. Thanks

Could you tell us more about this issue? does it make he noise all the time? cold or hot? What is the history of the vehicle? Has the clutch ever been replaced?

Mr question mark! lol just kidding, to me it sounds like the driveline center support or rubber dunt is bad, here is how to remove the driveshaft for inspection. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
