1992 BMW 318 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

can you please tell me the location of the oil filter on my BMW318i 1992 it must be in some kind of casing cannot find it

It is under the round aluminum cap that has a 13mm bolt head on it. Unscrew the bolt and let the oil in the filter drain into the crankcase and replace all O-rings, install new filter, lube the O-rings and there you go. Remember to check oil level after this is done.
