1985 BMW 318 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

After my car warms up, sometimes i'll be driving down Expressway & all a sudden the car just loses Juice! I mean, it DOESN'T DIE Completely, the Powers still on, but just Won't go! Gas pedal Doesn't Respond, so i have to coast off the road & wait! Any Suggestions????

first thing that needs to be checked is fuel pressure. you need to find out if you lose fuel pressure when driving. this is tricky because you need the fuel pressure gauge installled while driving.
