Hello,
I left my car in a garage I trust for fitting foglights in. He had to do the whole wireing and all. He said when removing and reinserting the instrument panel (for fitting a small light behind the dashboard which tells me the fog lights are on) he experienced that the speedo,- odo-meters and the fuel gauge stopped working. Checked all the fuses, fine. Sent it to specialist, and got the answer that the CPU of the instrument panel is forzen. It was all his fault, even if he has done his best. he doesn't really know the solution and I want my car back asap. What might be a solution? New dushboard, or how would be possible to fix the old one? Many thanks for your answer.

If the instrument cluster has failed internally, then I would have the cluster replaced at his expense.
