every time i brake at a stop light or an intersection my car goes into neutral for about 5 seconds , i go to pull away and the car jerks into gear it only does this when i brake hard the car has an automatic gear box,thank you

Service the transmission and change the filter then be sure the fluid level is correct, you show signs of low fluid level in the transmission. ♥
