Hello,
My BMW 2002 will not idle for more than a few seconds, then dies, unless it is on fast idle. i have tried to adjust the carburetor, and the drive preformance where it is right now phenominal above idle, but it spudders out when i let the revvs fall. the carburetor (stock) also has a few issues. to get it to a point where it will even idle at all, i'm about 3-4 turns on the mix screw out from the recomended range. The air bypass idle screw has almost no effect on the idle (unless you go too low). The carb is a stock solex 32/32 didta. Same deal with the mixture screw, i can almost take it out and it has little unless i have it too far in.
