Chevrolet dealership wants to replace head gaskets. I have been told to request total engine replacement. What should I do?

It is under warranty.

Absolutely this should be under 100% warranty. The only thing that could void it is if the vehicle was abused.

Yes, they will replace head gaskets under warranty. Would you advise to go ahead with this or insist on more such as entire engine?

Hi,
I would go ahead with the gasket replacement. Once you get the vehicle back, pay attention if there are any issues. If there are any other related issues, they should show up quickly.
I double-checked to make sure there were no technical service bulletins or recalls related to the cylinder head gasket, and there are none. So at this point, it doesn't appear to be a common problem.
When you get it back, pay attention to power, note if there is excessive white smoke from the exhaust, and keep an eye on the engine oil to make sure there is no evidence of coolant mixing with it.
