Here recently, the blower motor runs on high no matter where the fan selector switch is set, even in the off position. The fan selector switch also controls the A/C which does work correctly, but the blower will run on high no matter where it is set. The relay checks out ok and unplugging the resistor pack terminal has no effect.

replace the relay with a l;ike one an dsee if it stops, the relay may check out ok but is stuck in on position then check for melted wires or unplug the switch at control head and see if that is bad as it could be.

At some point the blower motor was replaced and they did a shoddy job connecting the wires together, which caused the the motor to connect to ground at all times, causing it to run on high even with the switch in the off position.
