Blower motor stuck at high speed?

The blower motor stays on high speed. Cannot adjust speed with switch.

Hi,

The speed is controlled via a blower motor resistor. Based on the speed requested, the power is directed through different resisters.

When the blower motor resistor fails, in most cases, the only speed you will have is high speed.

The resistor on your vehicle is located under the hood to the right of the blower motor itself and mounted to the firewall. I attached a pic below. Inspect that component to see if there is evidence if damage, being overheated, or connector/wiring issues.
