Blower motor does not turn off

Blower motor doesn't shut off even when engine is shut off. Have to remove fuse.

Good afternoon,

This is a shorted blower resistor. When it shorts internally, it will operate the blower at all times.

BLOWER MOTOR RESISTOR ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the right closeout/insulator panel.

2. Disconnect the blower motor resistor electrical connector (3).
3. Remove the blower motor resistor mounting screws (2).
4. Remove the blower motor resistor (1).
