How can I tighten up where it won't wobble on the shaft?

Good afternoon,

Do you mean the mounting is loose or the fan is loose on the motor?

Hi,

Unfortunately, these fans come as an assembly so if the cage is loose on the shaft then you will have to replace the assembly in most cases. I am sure there is a way that you could put some silicone on the shaft and then jam the cage back on but who knows how well or how long that will hold.

I looked and it appears they do sell just the blower fan cage or wheel as they call it for $5.00. It may be worth a try in replacing just this part. As you can see from the picture, they are just plastic and once the center hole wears out, there is nothing else to hold it in place.

Let me know what you find. Thanks
