Where is the block temperature sensor located?

My temperature gauge quit working, at the same time the a/c quit working, I assumed that it was the temperature sensor, I went to the part store to get a sensor, and found out there were three sensors for this car, they said the one that controls the gauge is in the block, but I couldn't find it. The only videos I could find said it was under the intake on the back side of the block. I have been all over this thing but I can't find it. Please help!

The temperature gauge works from the data of the PCM. Here is the location of the engine coolant temperature sensor so you can swap it out. It looks like it is on the backside of the engine under the intake manifold so it might be a little tough to get to. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

Hello,

The ECT sensor, Engine Coolant Temperature sensor, is located behind the engine under the intake manifold.
There appear to be several versions with the sensor being near the alternator and the other more in the middle under the intake manifold,

It has a 2-wire connector with pin 1, brown wire and pin 2, white wire.
