Flashers work but not the blinkers, or the odometer or speedometer, also where the calibration panel is. Just got the car back from the mechanic and they didn't work. Checked the fuses under the back seat and under the hood, took the instrument panel off plugged it back in and still the same thing. What should I do now?

Welcome to 2CarPros.

What services were performed at the shop? Was anything done that you feel could have had a affect on the instrument panel?

The one common element with the things you mentioned is the grounding location. Look at pics 1 and 2. They indicate the two circuits are connected. (c1 and c2). With that in mind, the next thing I would suggest is to check the grounds. See pic 3. Check the ground for a break in the wire, corrosion, and make sure it is tight. Also, here is a link explaining how to check wiring as well as using a volt meter / multi meter:

Not knowing what was done at the shop is sort of limiting me. Let me know if you get a chance.

Let me know if this helps.

Take care,
Joe

Okay, I was driving to Oregon from Washington we ran out of gas, put our extra gas in and nothing, went back to the car the next morning put more gas no start, battery was dying, got a jump from the cab, unfortunately at that point we saw smoke from the cabs battery. Realized his battery wiring was backwards ugh. Still no start. The mechanic replaced the fuel filter all better. But no blinkers. Took back to mechanic they started to check it but we had to get back on the road. At that point they said so far looks like the problem was leading to a bad computer or module needed more testing.

Welcome back:

Based on that, I tend to agree with the mechanic. If there are no blown fuses or wires, the PCM is what signals the affected components. It is very possible it was damaged.

You will need to disconnect the PCM and start checking for power to the pins I showed in the pictures. Also, confirm the grounds are good.
