2002 Pontiac Bonneville speedometer/odometer not working

Speedometer & odometer not working. although they do work once in a while. Sometimes the speedometer flutters up and down.

To diagnose if it's the cluster, the VSS, the cruise sontrol mod, or HUD, you need a scantool that can read the U codes and also collect live data from the speed sensor. Testing is done by running the car on a lift(front wheels), Measuring the speed on the speedo, and the VSS input to see if they match, testing the VSS fort shorts to ground, or power. If you have such a tool, I will send the test info to you. GM TechII scan tool needed!
