Here are the diagnostics and service info on both blend doors. The metal frame normally isn't removed, you have to remove the duct behind it and then you can get to the blend actuator mounting screws. Now if you have the dual controls and neither one will change temperature then it is more likely the control head instead of the actuator. If you have access to a good scan tool it can be used to test the system without needing to tear it all apart.

Thanks, I think I will let a professional fix this! It's above my pay grade, lol.

By the way, do you know how much they may charge for this job?

Depends a lot on labor costs. Shouldn't take much over an hour to do and the part lists at $58.00 currently. So, at $125.00 figure $175.00 to $200.00 if they do diagnostics as well.

Good luck, I would call a few places first, it's not a super hard job but some make it into one.

Thanks again! My brother is a retired auto mechanic so we will give it a try. The Hyundai dealer wants $1,500.00 , and I am not paying that for a $50.00 dollar part!

Yes, console comes out so you can remove the panel under the center of the dash. This should get you into that spot.
