I have a cable driven blend door actuator. Heat is only coming from the passenger side. The driver's side is blowing cold air. Is there any way to replace this part without replacing the whole heating unit? Thanks in advance.

The blend door on the driver's side is broken. At least that’s what I’ve gathered from the millions of posts I have seen. Nobody actually said you could fix the blend door though since it’s a cable driven actuator. The passenger side still works with the cable, but the driver side is always just cold.

Is the door actually cracked, or is the cable broken? Have you tried moving it by hand?

The door is apparently broken. The passenger side moves with the cable, but the driver side is always cold.

If you can move the door pivot by hand and does not change the temperature you will need to remove the HVAC plenum to repair the door. There is no other way, sorry.
