Blend door actuator removal?

Want to replace driver side blend door actuator. I take the two screws out, disconnect wiring harness but, while the actuator seems loose, it will not come out. What am I missing?

The problem is there are three screws holding the driver side blend door actuator onto the HVAC plenum. One is hidden toward the top-rear, requiring a shallow socket or stubby screwdriver to reach. I hope this helps.
