Blend door actuator

Welcome to 2CarPros. There really isn't a way to move it manually. To get to the shaft for the door you need to remove the actuator itself, then the shaft is there but it will not stay in position and the actuator moving if it is disconnected will set an error code in the BCM.

If the actuator is the issue you need to remove the glove compartment by removing the 6 screws that hold it in place, then you will see the actuator on the side of the HVAC case, Remove the wire connector and the 3 screws that hold the actuator. Now install the replacement actuator and initialize it. To do that you need a scan tool that has the correct special function to re-calibrate them. Sometimes you can get them to initialize if you remove the HVAC fuse with all of the controls turned to full off and low. Then put the fuse back in and the actuators may initialize themselves. This is sort of hit or miss as to working.
