We are not getting any heat at all. Have replaced the thermostat, and radiator. The heater core is not bad. Have been told it is the blend door actuator. Where is this located, and is there a diagram with possibly steps to get to it. Oh and also this car has the automatic temperature control system. Thank you so much.

Hello I am Danny,

The actuator is located on the left side of the HVAC box. That is located under the dash on the passenger side. I have attached a tutorial and a step-by-step for you to view. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.

Hi Danny, my car is a Chrysler and it is not like these diagrams you have sent. We have to remove the complete dash, as it is one piece. I was hoping maybe someone had a diagram or instructions on what is the easiest way to do this. We have a repair manual, but there is not anything about doing this in it. I believe it says to remove the center bezel. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Here is more information to help you do the job. I do not think you need to remove the dash to replace the temperature actuator. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what happens.

Cheers, Ken
