How to increase the air conditioning air flow with out removing the blend air valve?

If I need to replace the valve how to do it? In details.

Hi Balzabin,

I attached the process for replacing the blend door actuator. If you hear a ticking noise, then most likely it is one of the actuators. The easiest way to know which door it is, is move the temperature up and down and then move the mode switch one at a time and see which one makes the noise.

If the temp makes it click, then that is the blend door. If it is the mode position then that is the mode doors actuator.

However, the reduced air flow is not necessarily the blend air door because this doesn't effect the amount of air. It just effects the temperature of the air. The amount of air is determined by the blower motor.

Give me a little more detail about what happens when you increase the fan speed. Does it respond properly or does it only operate at one level?

Let me know and we can go from there. Thanks

The blower is okay all speeds but the flow is 50% reduced. I am in very hot weather country 122 F. I have disconnected the heater from the engine compartment because it was giving very hot air even with temperature max cool. It is the automatic temperature control (car is LGS).

Reduced air flow not caused by a blower fan issue is not a common issue. The most likely cause I can think of is a leak or a crack in the housing so some of the air is getting out of the box somewhere other than its intended location which would be the vents.

Do you hear or feel air escaping out places that the control is not set? Like if you put it on defrost, do you feel the air coming out the feet or other places?
