Black smoke out back and engine bay and jitters when accelerating

Hi, I have the vehicle listed above diesel. Today I noticed black smoke is billowing out the exhaust and some smoke was in the engine bay when revved. This morning when I pulled it, it was jittering when I put the accelerator down, no lights on dash.

This sounds like an issue with the fuel pressure. Have you been able to have that checked?
