When I drive my car it tends to over heat the radiator got hot and start smoking with liquid coming from it sealed the radiator no more pressure from the thermometer from cold to hot but black smoke comes from the car I was told that the smoke couldn't be helped because some of the oil was spilled on the pan all I know is that smoking comes from the tailpipe and under the hood

check for an oil leak first under hood then when car is hot turn off engine and check radiator for cold spots. if there are then the radiator is bad. if ok then get coolant system pressure checked for a head gasket leak.
