What is the exact size of the socket needed to move the tensioner to relieve the spring load to replace the serpentine belt?

Hello,

You will need a 15 mm socket for that bolt. Keep in mind that is the factory size bolt for these year vehicles. If the tensioner was replaced with a aftermarket component it could be a different size.

Thank you.

Thank you. I replaced the tensioner a while back but can't remember the size bolt and I used the original bolt on the reinstall. I had a couple of sockets that fit but did not want to strip the bolt pattern. Thanks again. CJ
