I had a coolant leak and replaced my water pump. When I went to reapply the belt... the was a large amount of slack. It is looped properly though.... Crank, alternator, water pump and tension er ...
It couldn't have stretched and the water pump couldn't bolt in wrong putting the pulley in the wrong place.. how did I get so much slack ... more then the tensioner would ever cover?
